Top psychic spy Fay Avalon saw too much on her latest mind-traveling mission and is now on the run from her post-catastrophic dystopian government, searching for the truth and proof. She escapes but is shot down, landing in the arms of the enemy.¨

In Drakker and Arlo’s world, women are so rare the men have accepted a polyandrous lifestyle. When the brothers stumble upon Fay unconscious in the wreckage of an aircraft, they are immediately attracted to her. Arlo wants to keep her, but Drakker knows they can’t. They must take her to their brother Logan Abán, leader of their people.¨

Logan struggles with trusting anyone, even himself. When a beautiful, intelligent, and intriguing woman falls into their laps, his denied desires for intimacy challenge his need to trust the spy. He’s frustrated by romantic Arlo’s claims of her innocence. When pragmatic and dominating Drakker defends her as well, Logan refuses to trust his gut.¨

Can one woman satisfy the diverse desires of three men? Will Logan’s fears be realized by betrayal? Is Fay to be sentenced to death as a spy, suffer a fate worse than death by being returned to her government as a traitor, or will she find a new life and love as the wife of three sexy brothers?¨

  Dedication

“Forever and always,” my hero said to me. You my dear hero, my husband, have proven that time and time again. Without your encouragement when I was down and your strength to hold me up when I was too battle weary to stand and fight another day, I never would have made it here. “Always and forever,” I said to you the day we shared our hearts with each other, and I still promise those loving words to you from the bottom of my heart.

Cecile Boudreaux and Elaine Gauthier, there are those who say you can only have one BFF…I beg to differ. (Of course I will, I’m Irish! That’s what we do.)

Cecile, one humid summer day you strutted into my life all the way from Louisiana and turned my quiet life as a writer upside down. You gave my career a kick in the binder with a complete revamp to the cover of my blog that changed my life as an author forever. I am grateful to you for believing in me and thankful for a friendship that is unbreakable.

Elaine, my Canadian wonder, I point an accusing finger at you for being the one responsible for all those seductive, sensual, and erotic sex scenes in my books. I’m warning everyone right now, if you find my love scenes hot, dirty, and smutty, it’s because of Elaine’s insisting I make them that way…beware everyone, she hides a wild side beneath that quiet persona. Thank you, sweetie, for being with me every step of the way.

Valance, cowboy, you helped me keep my mind with an offer of a rocking chair and a porch to rest my writer bones when all seemed too overwhelming. In your quiet way, you gave your wonderful support and touching friendship…now, now, don’t be getting “sorely tempted”—this is a dedication! *wink*

Tracy Farrell, wherever you are dear lady, I hope you’ll see this. Way back when I was still unpolished and looking to climb this huge mountain, you sent me an awesome rejection letter. In it you said, “I will say that I never encourage any writer whom I don’t think has talent.” Because of your kind words of encouragement to “keep writing” I never gave up. I owe you a special thank-you for my being published today.

  Acknowledgements

  My heartfelt gratitude to:

Raven ~ who carries the magic of her namesake and allowed this Hawk be a part of the Liquid Silver Books nest.

Terri Schaefer ~ Are there any acquisitions editors who come any sweeter than she? I think not!

Jennifer Hassani ~ You were the very first acquisitions editor to believe in me enough to say let’s do this and mean it.

You were the very first content editor who understood me and my goals enough to say we can do this and mean it.

You were the very first editor who gained my trust, my heart, and who will be my BFF and BEF as we do this together, and I mean this from the bottom of my heart…You are the best! My books would not be what they are without you.

You’re that dream editor every author wishes for, but can never find. You care, and it shows. This book is not just my baby, it’s ours because you’ve put in all those same long sacrificing hours I’ve put in to making it grow into what it is for our readers to enjoy.

I appreciate you, and all you do. I’m amazed at your professionalism. You never have a cross word to say even when you’re spinning plates: one author needing advice, another on the ledge of I’m never writing again, a grumpy one who hates doing her social media in need of someone to complain to, and one who’s in tears because her cover wasn’t what she expected it to be. You’re there for not just me but all of us, somehow managing to make each one of us feel special, and you do it with a smile and a kind word. You. Are. Amazing, Jennifer!

I’ve written this brief acknowledgement a hundred times, and whatever I say about you is not enough. So let me just say…I adore you! Thank you for being you.

Michelle, Terri F, Valerie, and RJ ~ Thank you for this fabulous cover, the ideal marketing, and for all those other unseen things you do behind the scenes to get this book out there! Each and every one of you is wonderful in your own special way to me.

And for those not named because you’re in the shadows of this process, I also give you my heartfelt thanks. Like the unnamed soldier, your name isn’t known, but what you’ve done for me is truly appreciated…Thank you all.

  Prologue

Over nine thousand years after Nostradamus’ predictions in the sixteenth century, the twenty-second century’s Trasdamian prophecies of the world’s end from the devastating earth changes caused by the passing of the planet Nibiru came true. There were survivors, but not all of them were humans, and not all of them were happy.

  Survivors List

  Mind Travelers:

A limited number of beings who, while mentally alert, have the ability to send their mind and energy, their biophysical bodies, to the fourth or fifth dimensions to “see” what is happening on any physical or mental level. They can project their “sight” to view anything at any time, be it in the future, past, or present. Whether it be buried two hundred feet below the Earth’s crust, across the country, on Mars, or in the next solar system, they can see it.

While in their biophysical form, should the mind traveler choose, they have the ability to read thoughts, experience vicariously all senses of the person or objects they are viewing. They move unseen by those in the physical world, including other mind travelers, when they are in the dimensional realms. Mind travelers can however see each other when both are traveling in the fourth or fifth dimensions.

Nothing can stop a mind traveler except low-frequency temperature waves or mutated negative energy. Such forces defuse the mind traveler’s ability to see clearly.

  Dirt Dwellers:

Before the predicted end, top government officials, the heads of the m
ajor religions, a chosen few elite, and some of the filthy rich from across the world secretly built underground cities. They decided who would be allowed into their new domain two and a half miles beneath the Earth’s surface. What should have been a perfect puritan world and a new beginning for man, soon returned to the old corrupt ways of human nature.

The problems began immediately because there were no working-class people to service the new population, pitting old money against new money.

Now, centuries later, manipulated and controlled by their Underworld government through twenty-fifth century Big Brother technology, some of the citizens search for ways out, away from the controlled population growth, high taxes, and invasions of privacy. The waning food supplies, growing health issues, and the increasing government dictatorship turn the Dirt Dwellers who chose to escape into runners.

  Airbornes:

The general human population considered expendable by their governments and left aboveground to survive as best they could.

In such a rugged and raw existence, most Airborne women and children struggled to survive for the first one hundred years because of targeted genocide attacks by the Dirt Dwellers attempting to wipe out all future Airbornes. The women and children suffered through genetic mutations, sterilization, and infection by deadly diseases, many times resulting in death. Because of a lack of women, the men were forced to accept a polyandry lifestyle, two or more men sharing a wife, for the survival of their race. Two hundred years later, when the Airbornes were able to do more than just survive, skirmishes with the Dirt Dwellers began.

Now, seven hundred years after the cataclysm, the Airbornes’ day-to-day technology is equivalent to the nineteenth century. They built small western-style towns in hideaway places to protect themselves from Dirt Dweller attacks. Because of their newly established contact with Star Riders and Old and New World Moles, they are advancing quickly into a more modern age.

  Star Riders:

Humans left on satellite space stations. With twenty-fifth century technology, over time these Star Riders mixed with all humanoid life forms, even those from other planets. Two predominate types of Star Riders remain: the Alien Alpha mix and the 100 percent human chauvinists. In recent centuries, they joined forces with the Old World Moles and Airbornes to try to beat the odds against them.

  New World Moles:

Runners who managed to discover the forgotten tunnels that led from the Underworld cities and connected to old missile silos and Vivos survivor centers created by forty-first century conspiracy theory survivalists. The runners were taken in and merged their bloodlines with surviving groups of beings now known as New World Moles. Having twenty-first century technology, these beings turned the silos and Vivos centers into condo-style homes and cities. New World Moles are a mixed bloodline of Old World Moles, Airbornes, and former Dirt Dwellers.

  Old World Moles:

Fae beings who remained pure to their bloodline. Faeries left on this side of the veil thousands of years ago by their queen to keep watch over the humans and cannot return until their land of Avalon reappears. During the cataclysm they emerged from their hidden dwellings within caves, trees, and canyon homes to use their magical Druid-like powers to help the forsaken humans survive.

  Mutants:

Descendants of Airborne females who were intentionally exposed to or infected by synthetic viruses, crossbred bacteria, genetically modified foods, plagues, and chemicals used by the Underworld government to eradicate human reproductive genes as fetuses or children. Those who survived were left with odd physical deformities or other unpleasant effects caused by the Dirt Dwellers’ biowarfare on the Airborne population.

  Technology In Use

  Torsion Field:

An energy that travels at 109 times the speed of light. Torsion fields can affect electric, quantum spin, and gravity fields. It can shield against electromagnetic fields and can change the frequency of a laser beam. This field can melt or solidify materials. It can also affect the higher levels of human consciousness, causing impaired mental ability, injury, or death.

  Orgone Weapon:

An advanced weapon made to affect the biophysical energy used by mind travelers. When the Orgone weapon is pointed at the mind traveler’s biophysical form in the fourth or fifth dimensions, the user of the weapon can boost the traveler’s energy or deplete it to the point of bringing death.

  HAARP Weapon:

High Active Auroral Research Program. 3.6 million watts of radio waves combined to create and control weather, enhance communications and surveillance systems, and disrupt the earth’s magnetic field. HAARP can be used to create mega-earthquakes, killer hurricanes, and extreme droughts or floods. HAARP has a physical aspect wave capable of capturing a flying object and forcing a flight path change or crash.

HAARP waves are known to cause numerous health issues and even death in humans and animals. This technology has the ability to control the human brain to change a person’s mood or personality drastically within seconds. A person can also be manipulated into unknowingly performing acts and deeds they wouldn’t normally do.

  Chapter 1

  AD 4860, Earth.

  Dirt Dwellers’ Underworld.

  Mind traveler’s viewing session.

Oh my God. Fay relaxed her shoulders, relieving the tension, while mentally watching in complete fascination as a naked woman ran her tongue up and down a man’s swollen penis. The woman’s exposed breasts swayed to the rhythm of her passionate licks while her bare bottom moved to and fro.

“Agent Avalon, would you tell me what your senses are registering right now? Particularly what you’re seeing right now, please?” The interviewer’s sharp voice jolted through Fay’s fifth-dimensional energy, rattling her nerves and her focus. Rex continued to question her. “I realize you’re our best psychic spy, but right now I’d swear you were a trainee in mind traveling. You’re giving me squat, Avalon!”

Ignoring his insult, Fay focused her energy on a young man wearing a cowboy hat stepping into the cozy den. He closed the door behind him.

“Hot damn!” the young cowboy hollered. “I never thought I’d see her fine ass exposed like this, and look at the cute pussy she’s got.”

Fay’s energy jigged. Did he really just call the lady’s vagina a pussy? If she’d been focused in the physical plane, she would have giggled with embarrassment, but pussy was rather a sweet word for a woman’s privates.

Fay followed the young man’s uneasy glance to the door. He flipped the latch. Turning back to the couple he whispered, “Did you have to pick here?” His glance slid to another door on the other side of the room. “He’s got a whoopee room in there.”

The older, more distinguished man squished his brow into a questioning frown. “It’s called spontaneity. You ever hear of it?”

The young man scowled. “I know, but you’re doing it on top of our leader’s desk.”

“That’s what makes it exciting.” The naked older man had a handsome ruggedness about him. His thin lips turned into a lusty smirk as he stroked his fingers into the woman’s hair, while still addressing the younger man. “You can join us or wait until we pick a more appropriate place. It’s up to you.”

  “What about—”

“Don’t worry about him.” He groaned as the woman stroked her mouth up and down his penis. “He’ll overlook anything when it comes to men loving on their woman.”

With a jaunty toss of his worn cowboy hat, the younger man headed across the room stripping off his white cotton shirt. He exposed a well-bronzed, muscled chest and lean waist.

Fay crossed her legs to stop the tingle building between them. Her physical body’s reaction to the erotic scene in front of her was distracting her from looking for the safe she’d been sent on this mind journey to find.

“Avalon!” The interviewer’s voice rippled her energy.

She scanned the room in search of something to report to Rex, but a groan from the young cowboy drew Fay’s attention. She
soaked in the vision of his buffed chest before dropping her gaze to his lower stomach as the young man loosened the belt on his hip-hugging pants. She moved her focus along the abdominal muscles creating a vee down to his crotch. The unique sight of tanned flesh made her breath catch in her chest.

The cowboy stepped behind the naked woman still sucking on the older man’s member as if the world was about to end. Without another word, the young man unbuttoned his low-riding leather pants and freed his penis.

Fay gasped. My God, it’s huge! She heard the faint voice of her interviewer but was too caught up in what she was watching to pay attention to him.

The sexy, young cowboy rubbed the head of his erection seductively over the woman’s round bottom. She moaned and brazenly wiggled her hips. “Stick your cock in my ass.”

A lusty excitement raced through Fay. She knew the woman was enjoying the sex. Her heart pounded at the racy words. In Fay’s puritanical Underworld, everyone was indoctrinated to believe the sole purpose for intercourse was reproduction not pleasure. If you were caught or confessed to feeling lust or desire, you were condemned by the church and sentenced to an exorcism to release the dark side of the devil’s depravity.

Fay cringed. At puberty, she was caught masturbating while secretly watching a fourteen-year-old boy jerk off. She would never forget being taken to her first and only exorcism. She learned one thing from the spiritual cleansing and the following inquisition—to hide her desires. Though she would never admit it, she enjoyed what she was hearing and seeing now. Dirt Dweller women would never make the sounds of pleasure this woman did. In her world, sucking a man’s penis was unheard of. Having sex with two men at the same time would land a person in jail, and nonlottery sex was a crime.

Though Fay’s physical body sat hundreds of miles away, her biophysical energy was as good as being an invisible person standing in the room. Her abilities allowed her to feel a target’s emotions, to see what they saw, and to experience what they smelled, tasted, and even touched if she needed or wanted to. And right now, the input was causing moisture to pool and dampen the crotch of her panties.
